What is drawn
A dark background in which two figures glow. On the left sits a figure in blue plate armor: the pauldrons and knee guards are decorated with spiral patterns, and small stars shine around it. On the right is the same pose, but the armor is orange-red with yellow trim in the shape of crenellations. Both have simple round white heads without details and closed eyes drawn as short dashes. They sit on heavy stone chairs, as if on thrones, and rest their hands on their knees.
There is no third character in the drawing: no tiny figure, no sword, no caption. Any “tiny little men” appear only in users' captions.
What is known about the source
The artist and the first publication are unknown. So it cannot be said which game or comic the design came from, and it should not be attributed to a specific genre. It is only visible that the style is conventionally cartoonish: thick outlines, bright colors, and glowing accents.
Even so, the structure of the image is clear without explanation: two mirrored heroes of different colors. Such a composition immediately suggests a confrontation or a choice of “blue or orange.”
How the image reads
The closed eyes and relaxed poses create a sense of calm strength. These figures are in no hurry; they seem to already know everything. That is why the picture is easy to caption as a portrait of two seasoned sides with nothing left to prove.
The color division suggests that there are two sides. Blue and orange are a classic contrasting pair, and the viewer automatically compares the heroes. Captions are built on this, where each figure has its own opinion, habit, or fate.
Caption examples
“People who drink tea and people who drink coffee, after two hours of arguing.” Two camps that are in no rush to go anywhere.
“The eternal ‘Windows or Linux’ debate ten years later.” The figures have long since understood each other.
“Two old friends at a class reunion.” The caption uses the calm look and the identical pose.
“The night shift and the morning shift at the handover moment.” Different colors convey different times of day.
How to use the template
Caption both figures separately: on the left and right you can write who they are, or leave one of them without a caption. Topics with two equal camps or two experienced participants work best, rather than stories about “giants” and “little ones”: the picture does not show that kind of relationship.
If you want to convey scale, you will have to do it with text rather than the drawing. But it is simpler to rely on the composition itself: two figures on thrones, nobody arguing, everything already said.
Another good device is to caption both sides with the same word, changing only the details: “the blue team” and “the orange team” do the same thing, but in different ways. The calm closed eyes make such a caption especially ironic, since the heroes look as if they have agreed on everything except the details.
Since the drawing has no inscriptions, the same pair of thrones fits any calm confrontation; all that remains is to decide who sits on the left and who on the right.
