The frame: red jacket and brick wall

The shot comes from a vertical video filmed outdoors on a sunny day. A young man with closely cropped hair stands close to the camera: his eyebrows are slightly raised, his mouth is a little open, as if he's just said something or is about to. He's wearing a dark red jacket with hidden buttons near the collar.

Behind him is a brick wall with raised, textured brickwork, and further back a street lamp, a construction site with a crane, and a sliver of sky are visible. The amateur filming and the random backdrop reinforce the feeling of "a chat caught on the fly": no studio, no script.

What exactly is being said in this particular frame can't be determined from the image alone. For the meme, it's not the content of that one second that matters, but the delivery itself: the direct stare, the seriousness, the pause.

How the popularity grew

According to meme encyclopedias, the account was created around August 2020, and in early 2021 its creator switched from music videos to spoken-word clips full of jokes and strange one-liners. The main growth spurt happened in May–June 2021, when his quotes started spreading across YouTube and other social platforms.

By July 2021, according to one overview, he had around 880,000 followers, and his clips were pulling in 300,000 to 500,000 views each. These figures come from secondhand summaries and may have changed since, so they're best treated as approximate.

What matters for the meme is the on-screen persona, not the creator's private life.

A warning: Denchik and Super Denchik are different people

It's easy to mix up two similar names in a search. Another Ukrainian creator known simply as "Denchik" performed as a street musician on Kyiv's Khreshchatyk, and news about him is about him specifically — it has nothing to do with the syperden000 account.

So when retelling the story, it's worth sticking only to what's genuinely connected to this video: the format, the delivery style, and the way the quotes spread as memes.

Why these lines are so memorable

The secret of the meme lies in the mismatch between tone and content. An absurd statement is delivered flatly, with no smile and no hint of a joke, so the listener hesitates for a second: is this a joke or an actual serious thought? Laughter slips into exactly that gap.

The second reason is compactness. The line fits in a single sentence, which makes it easy to copy into a comment, a caption, or a bio, and the picture of the creator's face makes the quote recognizable even without context.

Captions in the spirit of the genre

Below are made-up examples, not actual quotes from the creator himself.

"If you stare at the fridge long enough, it starts staring back." A classic pseudo-wisdom structure: a familiar formula with the object swapped out.

"I wasn't late, everyone else just showed up too early." The serious tone presents the excuse as a logical conclusion, and the frame works as a signal of "I'm being completely honest here."

"Tea doesn't go cold because you take too long to drink it — it's already made up its mind." The absurd cause-and-effect turns an ordinary observation into something funny.

The best examples are short and start from an ordinary situation: the more mundane the premise, the stronger the effect of the solemn delivery.

Tips for using it

It's best to caption the image with a quote in quotation marks: that way the viewer immediately reads it in the creator's voice. You shouldn't make fun of the person's appearance or voice — the template works because of the format of the line itself, not by mocking him.
